Emily Anne Rule

President

Emily is currently completing her undergraduate degree at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. She is majoring in Nutrition with a concentration in Pre-Professional Health and has the goal of continuing her education at an accredited Optometry school. She was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, where her mother and the rest of her family still live. She is close with her little sister, Jamie, who is completing her undergraduate degree in Austin, Texas. She and her boyfriend have a 4-year-old pup named Sophie and they are living happily in Lubbock while she finishes her undergraduate courses and gets ready to apply to Optometry schools.  

 

Emily Conn

Vice President

Emily Conn is currently completing her undergraduate degree at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. She will graduate in 2022 with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Emily was born in raised in Wichita Falls, Texas, where her mother and father embraced her strong work ethic and compassionate heart. She maintained a love for school while also participating in every sport her school had to offer. Apart from school, Emily shares a passion for travel. Her hope is to one day return to Florence, Italy, where she can again explore the masterpieces of Renaissance art and architecture. After graduating from Texas Tech University, Emily's goal is to further her education by applying to optometry schools in hopes of becoming a future Optometrist!

Kade Averhoff

Director of Community Relations/Graduate Advisor

Kade completed his undergraduate degree at Texas Tech University in May of 2021. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Animal Science with a minor in Biology. Kade is currently working as an Optician at Wentz + Woodrich Eyecare in Lubbock, Tx. He was born and raised in the small central Texas town of Stephenville. Kade is applying to optometry school this Fall.
